This is a production flow of transmissions at the Atsuta Plant.
There are 3 major processes:

Machining and forging of gears which transmit power to axles.
Machining and forging of aluminum gear cases which contain these gears.
Assembling of these parts, including machining and assembling of gears,
is done at the Atsuta Plant, while forging of gears is done at JTT and
other places, and casting and machining of gear cases is done at our Matsusaka
Plant.
